Louis Garrard

Louis Garrard entered the senior living space in 2008, partnering with development firms from Atlanta, GA, and Houston, TX. Since then, Mainstay Senior Living's scope has grown to multiple locations throughout the Southeast. Offerings include Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing communities. Louis' career spans over 20 years in the affordable housing industry focusing on secured investment opportunities for his investors. His definiteness of purpose was to create investment vehicles providing investors with a steady income stream, minimal risk, and predictable returns over the life of their investment. Louis has over 25 years of experience in the residential and commercial construction industry. He has a proven track record of adding value to projects through the process of financing, development, construction, and management. As a long time entrepreneur in the real estate and construction fields, Louis brings years of commercial development and financial management experience to Mainstay. He is a graduate of Florida Southern College and is married with three children.


Lori Garrard

Lori's compassion and giftedness to connect with people and resources make our communities successful. Lori's leadership assures an atmosphere of love, a culture of genuine care, and an atmosphere of gratitude for the seniors we serve. In addition to being a senior advocate, Lori's mission-focused drive is a guidepost for the growth of emotional intelligence and caretaking within each and every community. Lori is a graduate of the University of South Florida, College of Education.


Gilles Ouellette

Gilles has more than 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, and auditing related to public and private real estate companies. Gilles’ experience includes companies such as Truststreet Properties, Inc., a publicly-traded REIT, and finance manager at CNL Restaurant Properties. 


John Ridenour

John’s role is to evaluate real estate investment opportunities falling within Mainstay’s focused asset classes. John works with investors to understand their investment goals. Prior to joining Mainstay, John served as Senior VP of Equity Investment for Servant Investments, and VP of Sales at CNL Financial Group.


Robert Jones


North Regional Director of Operations

Rob is a tenured senior living operator with broad spectrum expertise. Committed to an, “every moment matters” mindset for our seniors, Rob missions to ensure enriched quality of life for the seniors we serve. Educational accomplishments include a B.A. from Gardner-Webb University, an M.A. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a PhD from Wake Forest University. Rob makes his home in South Carolina and looks forward to serving in regional operations support for several Mainstay communities.


Dana Mercaldi


Director of Sales & Marketing

Dana leads our team of Family Advisors and directs the sales and marketing efforts for the portfolio. She has 20 years in experience in healthcare marketing and business development and excels in individual and group coaching for customer engagement and service. Dana is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Leadership and Marketing Degree.


Elizabeth Garrard


Digital & Social Media Specialist

Elizabeth is responsible for the creation and management of all aspects of digital design, social media platforms engagement, and print collateral design. Elizabeth graduated from Southeastern University, with a degree in Business Administration that compliments her creative and technological skills.
